Key Stage 1 Team

Jose Badock

Teacher - Venus

Hello, I am Mrs Badock! I qualified as a teacher is 2012 and have been teaching at St Anne's ever since. During my time at St Anne's I have enjoyed teaching Reception and Year 2 and now I am in Year 1! My favourite subject to teach is PE and I love running as well as a range of fitness activities in my free time. In recent years I have completed numerous 10k runs, done a skydive for the charity CLIC and become a mum. I love to travel and enjoy nothing more than relaxing on the beach and swimming in the sea. I have been to Hawaii, Bermuda, Australia and lots of states across America. Interesting fact: I attended St Anne's School as a child!

Liz Hancocks

Teacher - Venus Class

Hello, I’m Miss Hancocks!  I have taught a range of children in reception, KS1 and KS2 in various schools across Bristol. I really enjoy teaching Year 1 and seeing the wonderful progress that children make in their reading and phonics.  In my spare time, I enjoy learning Spanish, kickboxing and going on adventures in the UK and overseas!

Tiffany Trombetta

Teacher - currently on maternity leave

Hello, I'm Mrs Trombetta. My teaching career began in Leicester where I studied for my PGCE in 2012. I then taught in a school in Leicester for three years before joining the St Anne's team in 2016. No day is the same when you are a teacher and that is what I love most. It certainly never gets boring! Outside of work, I have two young children who keep me very busy!

Jess Trueman

Teacher - Neptune

Hello I’m Miss Trueman. I am originally from Yorkshire, but studied and began my teaching career in Bristol. I then taught in Bangkok which was an incredible experience and allowed me to travel around Asia. I love reading, and have a passion for supporting children with phonics and early reading. Outside of school I also enjoy cooking, exercise and (unsurprisingly) travelling and exploring new countries!

Ellie Matthews

Teacher - Saturn

Hello, I'm Miss Matthews. I have been teaching Year 2 in Bristol for the last few years and really enjoy watching the children become excellent writers. My favourite subject to teach is English, as I love stories. In my spare time, my little boys and I spend time at our allotment, baking and doing arty activities. I'm really looking forward to doing some painting, planting and baking at school too.

Mat Jedrysiak

Teacher - Jupiter

Hello, my name is Mr Jedrysiak but I am known around the school as Mr J.  I moved to Bristol in 2007 from Poland but I have lived in various places over the years.  I qualified in 2023 and am an Early Career Teacher.  In the past I studied sports coaching and sports science in Southampton and Winchester. I have worked in education for several years as an assistant and a sports coach, which led me to becoming a teacher. In my spare time I like to take part in various sports and physical activities. I also like motorsports;  I enjoy working on my project car and I travel to Poland as often as I can to visit my hometown, family and friends.

Sarah Williams

LSA - Year 1

Hello I’m Mrs Williams and I have been at St Anne’s since 2016. I started as an SMSA and have now joined the inclusion team. I’m originally from London, but fell in love with Bristol when I was at university so moved back after teaching in London. Outside school, I love spending time with my two boys, walking and baking.

Chris Warren

LSA - Year 2

I have worked at St Anne's for nearly 20 years in a variety of different support roles. I love getting to know the children and seeing the progress they make. In my spare time, I enjoy getting out into nature, walking in the woods, but most of all, I relish the time I get to spend with my granddaughter in Devon.
