Welcome to Supernovas

Hello and welcome to Supernovas.

At St Anne's Infants' School we endeavour to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.  In Supernovas we follow a specialised curriculum which links closely with the National Curriculum. This provides the children with opportunities to learn and understand emotions - both their own and other's; to build relationships with peers; to develop social skills and a focus on building our resilience.

On this page you will be able to find out more about what we have been learning.

Our daily routine

Term 4

This term we are going to be learning all about Spring. We will be observing the trees as they change, finding out about  life cycles, planting and growing seeds and celebrating how we grow and change as children and adults.  The beginning of this term has been a brilliant opportunity to observe the weather and its impact on our community. We have experimented with leaving bowls of water in various different places both inside and outside of school. The water outside of Supernovas stayed frozen for days! We thought about how birds and animals survive in the cold weather and we can help them by putting out food and water for them to eat and drink.
