Neptune Class have been busy making fruit kebabs as part of our DT learning. We thought about why fruit is healthy for us and chose different fruits to make our kebabs. Some of us even tried new fruits today such as strawberries, blueberries and pineapple which we thought were delicious!
Neptune Class and all of Year One have been working hard in PE to learn a dance routine and on 21st March we were treated to a performance of this dance. I was so impressed by how hard all of the children had worked to learn the routine! Well done, Neptune!
In Maths, the children have been exploring weight. They have been using non standard units of measure to find the weight of different classroom objects.
Neptune Class love reading stories and sharing books with each other. The children enjoyed visiting different places around the school to share books together.
In RE, we have been exploring our journey through life. We started our learning by looking at some special treasure in the bottom of a shiny box. We soon realised that we were the special treasure, as the box contained a mirror! The children enjoyed sharing photographs of their special times together including the birth of new siblings and family weddings.
