St Anne's Infants' School

Reach for the Stars

Vision, Values and Aims

At St Anne’s Infants’ School we are committed to developing an engaging learning environment where all children flourish. Natural creativity, curiosity and diversity are celebrated and nurtured through an enriching and inspiring curriculum. We value and respect each other as individuals, enabling an empowered and successful school community.

School Ethos and Values

At St Anne’s Infants’ School, we Reach for the Stars and shine because we are

Team players

Governors and staff work by these values and support our children, families and the wider community in doing the same.

Three teams made up of teachers, support staff and governors lead on developing learning, curriculum and wellbeing across the school. Each team has a three year goal which they are working towards:

Learning team: By July 2020, we will have improved attainment for identified groups of children (disadvantaged, those with English as an additional language and those with Special Educational Needs) in reading, writing and maths so that it is in line with the attainment of those groups nationally.

Curriculum team: By July 2020, the children will be learning through enriched national curricula, tailored to inspire and address the needs of our school population.

Wellbeing team: By July 2020, the emotional and physical wellbeing needs of staff and children across school will be met to ensure best possible outcomes for all.
