Term 2
During Term 2, we have approached our learning with curiosity and energy. We have enthusiastically engaged in open ended, hands-on experiences which have helped us to build our understanding of key concepts; to test our ideas and to find out.
We enjoy daily, autonomous opportunities to develop our own ideas and practise our learning behaviours. Our learning is meaningful to us so that we can use what we have learned and apply it in new situations. These are the abilities and attitudes of strong learners and they support us to learn well and make good progress in all the Areas of Learning and development.
Themes from our self-directed play have included obstacle courses, schools role-play and mixing solutions. Our attuned adults guide, develop and extend our child-initiated play. Our practitioners have also supported us to develop our friendships, turn taking and co-operative play.
