    Children are admitted into the Nursery class in the September after their 3rd birthday. 

    There are 52 places made up of a combination of 15 hours universal entitlement per week:

    • Beginning of the week: Monday and Tuesday 08:45 – 15:00 and Wednesday morning 08:45 – 11:15, or
    • End of the week: Wednesday afternoon 12:30 – 15:00 and Thursday and Friday 08:45 – 15:00

    and 30 hours extended entitlement for eligible families:

    • Monday - Friday 08:45 – 15:00

    The school is the admissions authority for the Nursery class. We follow the same admissions criteria as the Local Authority when offering the 52 places and abide by the following criteria in the case of over subscription:

    1. Children in Care or children who were previously in Care but immediately after being in Care became subject to an adoption, residence, or special guardianship order
    2. Children who currently attend the Nursery and are still of an eligible age in September
    3. Siblings at the infants' or junior school
    4. Children of staff members
    5. Children living closest to the school as measured in a direct line from the home address to the school address

    We hold Nursery open events on a termly basis. Children are very welcome to attend and there will be fun activities for them to try.
