SENDCo Assistant
Hello, I’m Christina Burfitt, I’ve been a Teaching Assistant at St Anne’s for seven years working in classes across Reception and Key Stage 1. I’m originally from Ireland but when I met my husband I decided to make Bristol my home. I absolutely love it here and can’t imagine living anywhere else! When not at school, I’m kept busy being mum to my two children – Jake and Amelia. In my spare time I can be found jogging along Bath Road, curled up with a good thriller or practising my newest hobby - Irish Dancing!
Pastoral Lead
Hello there, I’m Jen Owen. I originally qualified as a teacher in 2007 and worked at a school in Easton until 2015 when I became a stay-at-home parent to my three young children. Since then I have invigilated GCSEs and A-levels and marked key stage 2 SATs. In my spare time I volunteer with the homeless charity St. Mungo’s and help to organise a homeless outreach group. I also enjoy getting out into the countryside and exploring with my family.
LSA - Shooting Stars Lead
Hi, I'm Miss Brown, after teaching for 5 years in Special Education and mainstream schools I worked for a civil engineering company for 10 years in Health and safety, streetworks and NVQ training initiatives, during which time I had 2 children. When my eldest daughter started at St Anne's Infants School in 2015, it became the signal for me to return to my first love of working with children. Initially I was a class based LSA in Year 1 and 2 and now love being part of the inclusion team at St Annes. When I have free time I mostly spend it outdoors with my family and friends in the woods or by the sea!
LSA - Shooting Stars
Hi, I’m Ms Drew. I first started working at St Anne’s as a volunteer in Year 1 when my son started in the nursery. I enjoyed it so much that I trained as a Better Reading Partner, joined the lunchtime team and completed my LSA qualification. I now love being part of the inclusion team. Before having my son, I worked in administration while also volunteering as an Education Assistant at a local museum and a helper at Rainbows. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, reading, going on adventures with my family and finding out interesting animal facts with my animal-enthusiast son!
Hi my name is Jacqui Pritchard. In the mornings I help run breakfast club, then, as part of the Inclusion Team, I work with children across different year groups.

Inclusion LSA
Hi, I'm Mrs Davey. I have worked at St Anne's since 2020 when I started as an SMSA and I have now joined the inclusion team. As an ex-pupil it is very nostalgic working in the school I used to attend as a child! In my spare time you will usually find me in one of many local parks with my children & husband or training at my local Martial Arts club where I am currently studying Krav Maga (I also have a black belt in Karate).
Inclusion LSA
Hi, my name is Mrs Day. I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare and education and have worked in schools and nursery settings in various roles, for 23 years. I am a proud mum of 3 children who I love spending time, playing games and going on adventures with. In my spare time I love to spend time with family and friends, going to various talks or comedy gigs, walking my dog, growing things at our allotment and reading books.
