Mrs Tye (Monday-Wednesday)

Mrs Tye (Monday-Wednesday) 1
Hello, my name is Laura Tye and I’ve taught at St Anne’s Infants’ since 2003.  During this time I’ve been very lucky to have the opportunity to teach Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and now Nursery!  I grew up in a town in Wales but after graduating from UWE I decided to make Bristol my home.  Following the arrival of my twins in 2011, I now work from Monday to Wednesday.  I also have another daughter who has started Reception this year.  I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and one of my favourite places to visit is Westonbirt Arboretum.

Hello, I am Mrs Nicholson and I have worked at St Anne's since 2007. I love teaching and being able to support children in developing new skills and achieving successes. I also run forest school sessions for the Reception classes. When I am not teaching I enjoy being outdoors and active with my husband and 3 small children; we love exploring woods, parks and nature reserves. We enjoy going camping, bike riding and walking, especially in the Lake District and Cornwall.

Hello, I am Miss Robbins. I have worked at St Anne’s Infants' school since 2013 and have thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to work in each year group across the school and be a part of the amazing school community. I have always had a passion for working with children from a very young age and love being a part of supporting them and seeing them grow. I have a keen interest in supporting children with special educational needs and have spent a lot of my time in school supporting children to flourish in their own way. I believe that learning through play is very important for children and love taking on the challenge to inspire children’s learning through their interests which often leads to messy tuff trays and a lot of Pinterest! This year I will be furthering my knowledge by studying for a degree in education whilst continuing to support the children in Nursery. Outside of work in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, in particular my twin sister's children who love to go out on day trips. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me.
