Hi! I have been Headteacher at St Anne's since September 2017 but have been at the school since 2010, firstly as Reading Recovery teacher and SENDCo and then as Deputy Headteacher and nurture lead. Before teaching in Bristol I taught in the Early Years in both London and Manchester. I have also had jobs in a department store, a high street bank and teaching English in Hanoi, Vietnam and Dublin. I love travelling and have been to lots of different countries including Argentina, Russia, UAE and Thailand. I live with my husband Mike who is a gardener and my daughter Maiya who is at primary school. When I'm not at work, I love reading, exploring the city, eating out and spending time relaxing and laughing with friends!
Hello! I am Jo Moss. I have wanted to be a teacher from a really young age. I have taught at St Anne’s Infants since 2002. Prior to this I was at Ilminster Avenue Specialist Nursery. During my teaching career I have taught in both Nursery and Reception – Early years being my specialism. I have been SENCo for the majority of my teaching life and this is a role I am passionate about. I love supporting children with an additional need and finding ways to ensure all children's needs are met. I have been one of the Deputy Head teachers here since September 2017. This role has enabled me to play a key role as part of the Senior Leadership role and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I am married and have 2 children of my own – Henry and Annabelle. We love going on holidays and spending quality time together as a family. Eating out and reading are two of my favourite hobbies!
Hello! I started working at St. Anne’s as a one day a week supply teacher in September 2006 and since becoming full time in 2010, I am now part of the furniture. I graduated from Kingston University in Surrey many, many moons ago and taught for a couple of years until I decided to take a detour in my career path and ventured into the world of recruitment. A few years later, I had the ‘calling’ again which led me back down the yellow brick road to teaching. I completed a return to teaching course and here I am today! It has been a fabulous place to work for all of these years – the children are fabulous, the parents are supportive and my colleagues are the icing on the cake! I have two daughters, Daisy and Phoebe who are both at secondary school and a husband (Ash) who works for an architectural company in Clifton. I enjoy pottering in the garden (which is something I never thought I’d hear myself say!) and holidays in the Mediterranean sun.
Hello, I am Miss Robertson and I joined the St Anne’s team in September 2018 following a move back to the South West. Prior to this I worked for 3 years at a school in Kent in both Reception and Nursery classes. I am passionate about Early Years education and love being witness to the huge amounts of progress that children make in these years. In my free time, I enjoy singing and playing the piano. I enjoy trips to the theatre and try to see musicals whenever I can.
I have worked at St Anne’s Infants' since 2010. My two children, Noah and Tilly attended St Anne’s and both loved every minute of it. I started my career in catering travelling and working in Australia, Israel, Greece and in a French ski chalet before settling down back home in Bristol. I fell into my role by chance after a stint in office management and recruitment and soon realised that my passion was in education and that this was the most rewarding job I had ever done. I think my role is the most varied and fun in the school, one minute I can be balancing the challenging budget, the next fixing a toilet, building a den and then comforting a child. I could go on! Weekends and holidays are enjoyed listening to live music, cooking and reading.
