  • Weekly update - Term 1, Week 2

We hope everyone has enjoyed week 2 of term, despite the weather having a bit of an ‘April’ feel to it.

A fair bit of information to process this week as the school year is still young, so please do read carefully.

New catering company next term: As most of you will know, Cleverchefs are taking over the school kitchen next term (with the first meals being served by them on Monday 3rd November). We are very excited to have them. For those that currently require a special diet menu or for any new Nursery/Reception children with a food allergy, please complete the special diet request form here: SPECIAL DIETS / ALLERGY FORM . Please note that those children with allergies that do not have a special diet menu in place will not be able to eat school meals until this is done.

Parental Consents: Another reminder to log into MCAS and set parental consents for your child. Please note that the school’s default position is consent is granted if not completed, so please do complete them as soon as possible.

SEND Coffee Morning: The date for this has changed to Friday 26th September at 9am (St Anne’s Church Hall).

Nut-free school: Please note that we are a nut-free school. Please do not include nuts or nut-based products, including Nutella, in your child's packed lunches to ensure the safety of the school community.

Birthdays: In an effort to support children in having a nutritionally balanced diet, we kindly ask that you do not send in cakes, sweets etc when it is your child's birthday. Of course, everyone loves and deserves a birthday treat, but when there are 30 children in a class, it adds up. If you would like your child to share something on their birthday, you are welcome to bring in healthy snacks, e.g. fruit, or you could donate a book to share with the class.
