Essential information for Parents & Carers of children attending St Anne's Infants
Following recent feedback from an emergency situation, we have decided to implement an emergency SMS messaging service as part of our commitment to providing timely communication with parents. We will test this service on Friday 8th May at 09.30am. If you don't receive a message as part of this test, please let us know so that we can amend details on our systems to ensure that you do.
We are still looking for parents visitors for STEM week - particularly women as currently we have 5 male visitors across the week. The two days in particular we are looking for visitors are Wednesday 6th and Friday 8th May. Please email school@stannesinfants.co.uk if you can help.
If any parent would like to spill the tea and tell the community about any great days out, vouchers, etc - please let Rae F know for the newsletter scheduled to be sent out 15th May by emailing school@stannesinfants.co.uk
Please note that these are not permitted at school - any found during the school day will be kept safe by a teacher and handed back to parents at the end of the day.
Please don't forget that the exhibition at St Anne's Church Hall is at 3.20pm TODAY!
Regretfully, due to the change of day and lack of interest Mad Science have decided to cancel their club for terms 5 & 6. Parents that had already signed up will be notified directly by them. We hope that they will return on their regular Wednesday slot in September.
As it was very close to the last one and no interest, the school nurse drop-in on 28th April will be cancelled for St Anne's families.
Accepting your Primary School Offer
We hope you have received your Primary School Place Offer. The deadline for acceptance is Thursday 30th April.
Hot lunches
Please consider sharing the Cleverchefs menu with your child when selecting lunches to be more certain of a winning choice (current menu attached to this page at the bottom).
Phonics
Next week, we will focus on letter 'c'. We'll listen for the sound letter 'c' makes by saying the alliterative phrase 'The curly caterpillar crawls.' When writing the letter, we'll use the cue ‘Curl around the caterpillar.’
No new messages
Only 6 weeks until the Phonics Screener Check, Miss Pope and Miss Watkins will be sending home individualized sounds and words that children are struggling with. Please could you make sure you are practicing these as well as continuing to read with them. We are please with the progress they are making but would like their confidence to grow.
Please ensure that you are keeping up to date with payments due to the school. To find out which payments you need to make, you can use either the desktop version of MCAS (example on the left) or the MCAS app (image of the widget on the right).

If you have an outstanding payment to make and require help with this, please email school@stannesinfants.co.uk .
Please order all lunches for the following week by the end of Thursday (every week) on MCAS.
If you do not pre-order lunches for your children, then we cannot guarantee that they will be able to have the school meal of their choice.
