
Essential information for Parents & Carers of children attending St Anne's Infants
During the week beginning 15th June we are celebrating all things ‘Active Travel’. Active Travel is finding ways to travel that move our body, bringing benefits such as improved mental and physical health, improved focus and concentration and environmental benefits.
We will be running three whole school initiatives during this week:
Active Travel Breakfast – Monday 15th June - in the playground from 8.15am
Our Active Travel Breakfasts are a great way to is a great way to celebrate and promote active travel to school. We will have a range of travel information and activities, and anyone who travels actively to school on 15th June get a free breakfast item!
Golden Lock Box
Anyone who scoots or cycles during the week commencing the 15th June could win a prize! Each day a golden lock will appear on a students’ bike or scooter, if you spot it on your bike or scooter find the teacher in the playground with the prize box and see what you pull out!
Bling your Bike/Scooter
On Friday 19th June we will be holding a Bling your Bike/Scooter competition with the theme ‘Bright and Colourful’! Simply decorate your bike/scooter to be as bright and colourful as possible and bring to X on the morning of Friday 19th June. We will have some special guest judges who will announce the winners and give out prizes in assembly!

Grow a £ raised a whopping £696.82 for the school!
We would like to thank all the young entrepreneurs and their families for all the efforts in creating and selling their goods at the market and at home.

Phonics
Next week, we will focus on letter 'b'. We'll listen for the sound letter 'b' makes by saying the alliterative phrase 'Bat before ball.' When writing the letter, we'll use the cue 'Down the bat and around the ball.'
Resource payments
All resources payments have now been added to MCAS for this academic year. Weekly reminders will be sent to all parents that have an outstanding balance of the £5 per term payment. All balances must be settled by the end of term.
