Anti-Bullying Week and Odd Socks Day

The children of St Anne's enjoyed engaging in Anti-Bullying Week activities. The Anti-Bullying Alliance's 'The Power for Good' theme invited adults and young people to come together to have discussions about how we can use the power we have for good, to bring bullying to an end.  At St Anne's, we reflected upon how we can use our voices as a 'power for good' if we witness bullying and want to safely help. Pupils were invited to wear odd socks to school to show their support for Anti-Bullying Week.

Cultural Diversity Day

 

A wonderful day celebrating the diverse range of cultures at St Anne's!

The children had a fantastic, enriching day learning about the cultures of children in their classes. A huge thank you to the parents who came in to share stories, photos, songs, traditional clothing and home languages and, of course, to those who contributed to our world food-sharing event at the end of the day! 

 

 

Mosaic Orchestra Visit

 

 

A wonderful performance from the Mosaic Orchestra!

The Mosaic Orchestra is a newly formed group of musicians who identify as disabled. They visited St Anne's and provided our KS1 children with a fantastic opportunity to experience live music, from a range of familiar and less familiar instruments, up close and personal. The children were captivated throughout!
