Children learn the language of story when they are read to out loud and this in turn supports them to become confident, independent readers. At St Anne's the children hear stories daily in class and every week there is an opportunity for parents and carers to stay and listen to their child read and share books with them. There is a real buzz in the classrooms on these mornings!
