Welcome to Term 4! 

We are so excited to share all the fantastic learning experiences we have planned for the children as they continue to grow and discover. This term, our young historians will be stepping back into the past through our enquiry topic focused on the legendary engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel. Pupils will learn what it takes to research the past and will even put their own engineering skills to the test by designing and making bridges.

In maths, we are focusing on mastering the core concepts of geometry, multiplication, and fractions to build strong mathematical confidence.

Meanwhile, in writing, the children will practice writing for a variety of different purposes, inspired by exploring a fantastic range of fiction and non-fiction books.

To bring our history enquiry to life, we are incredibly excited to take the children on a hands-on educational visit to Brunel's SS Great Britain.
