St Anne's Infants' School

Reach for the Stars

Reception Team

Kelly Mason

Teacher - Earth

I am Mrs Mason and I have been a teacher at St Anne's Infants since 2004. I love teaching and enjoy seeing the children grow as the year progresses. Outside of teaching I have a young son and as a family we like to spend time exploring the great outdoors.  We visit local parks, woods and nature reserves and spend lots of time on the North Cornish coast. I have a large grumpy cat, who likes to relax in the garden and occasionally chase damselflies.

Amie Nicholson (currently on leave)

Teacher - Earth

Hello, I am Mrs Nicholson and I have worked at St Anne's since 2007. During my time here, I have enjoyed teaching in Reception and Year 1. I love teaching and being able to support children in developing new skills and achieving successes. I run forest school sessions for the Reception classes and am the schools Eco-leader, along with my team of Eco-warriors we are constantly striving to make our school more Eco-friendly and are in particular working hard on improving our schools grounds for the St Anne's Infants community but also for our local wildlife. When I am not teaching I am enjoying being outdoors and active with my husband and 2 small children, we love exploring woods, parks and nature reserves. We enjoy going camping, bike riding and walking, we love visiting the Lake District and Cornwall.

Catherine Robinson

Teacher - Earth

Hello, I'm Miss Robinson.  I have been a teacher at St Anne's Infants since November 2018 and I am thoroughly enjoying teaching at the school.  I enjoy being at an infants school as my teacher training specialised in Early Years Education.  Outside of school I enjoy singing in a choir, playing in a samba band and bouldering.

Maddy Lennox

LSA - Earth

Hello, I’m Maddy Lennox. I’m relatively new to St Anne’s Infants' as I started in May 2018 and I absolutely love it! I started out doing a creative degree at Circomedia in Bristol a few years ago but after graduating I decided I wanted to go down a slightly different route. I started working for a children’s performance party group which I loved and then began doing supply LSA work around Bristol. I’m so happy to be at St Anne’s now, the children and lovely staff make me laugh every single day! I find my job incredibly rewarding and feel so pleased to be welcomed into the team this year. I’m really looking forward to joining the Reception team. In my spare time I love going to the theatre, dance classes, reading and a good TV boxset!

Rachael Lindsay

Teacher - Moon

Hello, I am Mrs Lindsay, Moon Class teacher. I have worked at St Anne's Infants' School since September 2013. Everyday in Moon Class is different, full of challenges and successes. Just as I like to challenge the children I enjoy to set myself challenges too... some of my successes are; running the Bristol Half Marathon and London Marathon, Climbing Ben Nevis, Challenge 365 - running 3 miles everyday for a year....My goals this year are to climb Snowdon and learn how to sail. I hope I will be as successful as the children are at meeting their goals.  smiley

Zu Davies

LSA - Moon

Hello, I’m Mrs Davies.  I joined St Anne’s after volunteering as a parent helper when my now teenage children were much much younger!  I spent several years working in key stage 1 and am now enjoying the Early Years.  I love working with young children and relish seeing and sharing the world through their eyes. In my spare time I am an avid reader, a nature lover, (and a bit of a forager),  and an admirer of beautiful old buildings.  I also have an interest in holistic health and really enjoy good food and eating out.

Amy Leach

Teacher - Mars

Hello, I’m Miss Leach . I studied Education and Sociology at Bath Spa University and went on to complete my teacher training there, after a year out to support a little boy with cerebral palsy. I thrive working in the Early Years which is where all my experience lies. I joined St Anne’s in April 2015 and have remained in Reception throughout. I love being part of a challenging and rewarding environment at work, where no two days are the same. The children are forever inspiring me to think on my feet and be more creative. I’m really proud to be a part of the St Anne’s school community and to work alongside so many inspiring educators. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, eating out and getting into a good book on my holidays! ☀️
