We follow the 2014 National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 in Years 1 and 2 which, through programmes of study, sets out what all maintained schools are required to teach in each subject.   The core subjects are English, mathematics, science and computing. Art and design, design technology, geography, history, physical education, religious education and music are known as foundation subjects. In addition, personal, social and health education is a key part of our curriculum which will soon be a statutory element.
