Daily information: 

Bring a named water bottle to school each day. 

The children will have a fruit snack every morning. 

Please label jumpers, fleeces and coats with your child's name. 

Please order your child's lunch on MCAS. 

Reading books: 

Please bring your child's book bag in each day so that they can read with adults in school. We ask you to read with your child at least three times a week and make a quick note in their reading diary each time.

The children will bring two books home in their book bags in Year 1. One will be a reading book that we will support the children to change regularly. The other will be a shared reading book (as they had in Reception) that we will have already read together in school; this will be changed weekly. 

Phonics homework: 

We will send phonics homework out weekly. Please take the time to support your child's phonics learning by encouraging them to complete these activities. 

PE

Year 1 PE days are Tuesday and Friday. Children need to come to school in their PE kits on these days unless otherwise stated.
