This term's science club with Magnetic Maggie started last week with a bang as the children explored chemical reactions. The children had raisins in a cup of vinegar, they then added baking powder to this and were shocked to see what happened (as you can see by their faces)! 

The children then had to use their observational skills and asked questions about the experiment. They noticed changes such as how the temperature of the liquid changed as a result of the chemical reaction that had taken place. 

The experiment was called "dancing raisins".
