  • A big thank you

    Mon 26 Feb 2018
to Laura from Colourful Minds for working with the children to create our indo displays for the window wanderland trail at the weekend. I hope you managed to get out and about and take a look.
  • World Book Day

    Mon 26 Feb 2018

The book fair will be open in the KS1 hall after school until Thursday 1st March which is World Book Day. Your child should have received a £1 book token which can be redeemed at the fair.

To celebrate the day, we are asking children to bring in:

    • a potato – this is to make a book character with so a medium sized one would be just perfect!

    • their favourite story

If you would like to, you can:

    • dress your child up as a character from a book
    • come in and read a story to your child’s class and join them for lunch (grandparents also welcome – let your child’s teacher know so they can book you a lunch!)
    • Bring a cake for the cake sale after school to raise money for new books – don’t forget your pennies when you collect your child!

I have no doubt it will be a wonderful day as always! Look out for photos of class pages after the event.

Thank you  to Mr Hopkins, Ms Riddell, Mrs Nicholson, Miss Brown, Miss Brown’s mum and all the families who have contributed towards the children having a quiet garden in the playground. It is really coming together and will be a great space for those children who prefer a bit of relaxation at break times.
