St Anne's Infants' School

Reach for the Stars

Key Stage 1 Team

Kelly Mason

Teacher - Venus

Hello, my name is Mrs Mason and I am lucky enough to teach with Mrs Watts in Venus class. I have taught at St Anne’s for a long time now and I spent a while working in reception, so I love seeing how the children grow and learn as they move into Year 1. At home I live next to a gorgeous park and spend a lot of time exploring nature there with my family. I have a little boy at home and a gigantic cat (who is very cheeky!). I enjoy music, art, dancing and wildlife. I visit Cornwall often and just love playing on the beaches and learning how to body board.

Kate Watts

Teacher - Venus

Hello I'm Kate Watts and I am in school Wednesday to Friday. I have worked at St Anne's Infants' since 2008 in Nursery, Year 1 and Year 2.  Before working at St Anne's I taught in a tiny school in Cornwall for 2 years and before that at Frampton Cotterell Primary for 4 years, always in the infants or early years. In my spare time I enjoy camping with my husband and little girl, gardening and listening to live music when I can!

Jose Badock

Teacher - Neptune

Hello, I am Mrs Badock! I qualified as a teacher is 2012 and have been teaching at St Anne's ever since. During my time at St Anne's I have enjoyed teaching Reception and Year 2 and now I am in Year 1! My favourite subject to teach is PE and I love running as well as a range of fitness activities in my free time. In recent years I have completed numerous 10k runs, done a skydive for the charity CLIC and become a mum. I love to travel and enjoy nothing more than relaxing on the beach and swimming in the sea. I have been to Hawaii, Bermuda, Australia and lots of states across America. Interesting fact: I attended St Anne's School as a child!

Matt Livingstone

Teacher - Mercury

Hello, I'm Matt Livingstone and I'm very excited to join St Annes in September 2021. For the last two years I have been living and teaching in Tokyo, Japan. I had a wonderful time meeting so many interesting people, visiting lots of exciting places and eating loads of delicious food. Before living in Japan I was a teacher in London for three years. I'm originally from Coleraine in Northern Ireland and I like to go back and visit there whenever I get the chance. At school I really enjoy teaching maths and reading stories. And when I'm not at school I like to go running or watch football.

Jessica Baker

Teacher - Pluto

I have worked at St Anne's Infants' School since September 2017 having previously taught for three years at another Bristol Primary School. A little bit about me...In my spare time I enjoy travelling the world and visiting different countries and cities. I love the sun so I am always in search of some sunshine! Holidays are the perfect time for me to delve into a good book. I enjoy socalising and spending time with my family and friends exploring new places.

Alice Tomlinson

Teacher - Jupiter

Hello, I'm Miss Tomlinson. I've been teaching since 2013 in Bristol and abroad. I spent 4 years teaching in Abu Dhabi which was a great experience and allowed me to travel to lots of different places. In my spare time I enjoy exercise, reading and spending time with my friends and family.

Sophie Beaumont

Teacher - currently on maternity leave

Hello, my name is Mrs Beaumont. smiley I have worked at St Anne’s Infants’ School since June 2012. Throughout my time here, I  have enjoyed teaching both Year 2 and Reception and my favourite subject to teach is Maths. At home, I have a little girl who always keeps me very busy. We enjoy going on walks and finding the perfect spot for a picnic.

Tiffany Trombetta

Hello, I'm Mrs Trombetta. My teaching career began in Leicester where I studied for my PGCE in 2012. I then taught in a school in Leicester for three years before joining the St Anne's team in 2016. No day is the same when you are a teacher and that is what I love most. It certainly never gets boring! Outside of work, I have two young children who keep me very busy!

Anna Herbert

Hello there, I'm Anna Herbert and I've worked as an LSA at St Anne's for 7 years, mainly with the Year 1 and 2 children. I also supported a child with cerebral palsy for her 3 years at our school which I found very rewarding. I have two daughters who keep me pretty busy as well as various pets and I also love to be active and being outside. I can often be spotted out rowing on the stretch of river that runs along St Anne's and past Beese's. Keep an eye out for me next time you're having a walk on the towpath!

Andrea Murray

Hello, I'm Mrs Murray. I started working at St Anne's Infants' School as an SMSA and BRP volunteer in 2012 while my younger son was in Reception. I originally qualified as a secondary school teacher but found I really enjoyed working with younger children and have since worked as an LSA at St Anne's in both Key Stage 1 and Reception. I'm now looking forward to bringing our beautiful school library back into use. In my spare time I enjoy crafting and reading, and this year's challenge will be sending my eldest son off to university.

Zu Davies

Hello, I’m Mrs Davies.  I joined St Anne’s after volunteering as a parent helper when my now teenage children were much much younger!  As an LSA, I have worked in both Reception and Key Stage 1.  I love working with young children and relish seeing and sharing the world through their eyes. In my spare time I am an avid reader, a nature lover, (and a bit of a forager), and an admirer of beautiful old buildings.  I also have an interest in holistic health and really enjoy good food and eating out.

Jen Owen

Hello there, I’m Jen Owen and I’m an LSA in Year 2. I originally qualified as a teacher in 2007 and worked at a school in Easton until 2015 when I became a stay-at-home parent to my three young children. Since then I have invigilated GCSEs and A-levels and marked key stage 2 SATs. In my spare time I volunteer with the homeless charity St. Mungo’s and help to organise a homeless outreach group. I also enjoy getting out into the countryside and exploring with my family.

Chris Warren

I have worked at St Anne's for nearly 20 years in a variety of different support roles. I love getting to know the children and seeing the progress they make. In my spare time, I enjoy getting out into nature, walking in the woods, but most of all, I relish the time I get to spend with my granddaughter in Devon.
