Pluto Class have been amazing engineers and created their own pencil pots!
Saturn Class have been working hard today as Mathematicians and Scientists!
After finding out more about the skills an engineer has, and what their work involves, we then set about building another- this time, with a criteria (or 'Project Brief') to meet. The tower had to be as tall as Mrs. Weech and must stay standing for at least 60 seconds. The results were far more successful, and the team-work even better!
This week, Saturn began our new enquiry by exploring what it means to be an engineer. We worked as team-players to build a tower and then discussed how different they all looked and how some were easier to build (and more stable!) than others. Why was that?
