Term 6
We've reached the final term of our time together at St. Anne's Infants' School. Can you believe it?
This term, a lot of our focus will be on celebrating the children's time in Key Stage One and preparing them for their transition to Year 3. We look forward to sharing with you our 'Leavers' Assembly' towards the end of the term, and can't wait for our Puxton Park and pizza treat as our end of year celebration! More information to follow soon :)

Enquiry
We will be completing two enquiries this term "How will we get around in the future?" and "How are schools the same?" In the first we will be Geographers and Engineers and explore how we might travel around the world in the future. We will look at human and physical features and use a compass to write directions. In the second we will be Artists and Geographers. We will compare life in a school in the UK to a school in Tanzania. We will also explore a range of artists from Tanzania.
Philosopher
As philosopher's the children will be exploring the unit "Changing Me" this term in PSHE. They will identify some of the things that change as they get older. They will learn how to prepare themselves for their next stage in their learning journey.
PE
This term we will continue to focus on our ‘Fitness Cog’ in PE, where we’ll begin to focus on challenging our speed and agility.
