During the STEAM days at the end of Term 2, all the children took part in cross-curricular learning opportunities around the theme of ‘Colour’. The activities incorporated Science, Art, Maths and English. Last week, children from Nursery through to Year 2 had their work displayed in a public exhibition at the Paintworks. One of the governors and I had the pleasure of going to the opening of the exhibition and I felt a huge amount of pride in seeing St Anne’s Infants’ work amongst that of other schools. For most children it will be the first time their work has been exhibited in public – what an achievement and moment to remember!
