• Healthy Schools Physical Badge

  We are delighted to announce that we are the second school in Bristol to have been awarded the Healthy Schools Physical Activity Badge. The Healthy Schools team felt that St Anne's, led by Mrs Badock, has 'built a culture that supports and celebrates physical activity, supports active travel and helps reduce barriers to being active.' We have done this by celebrating outstanding effort as well as achievements in sports on a regular basis, implementing the Daily Mile, improving provision at playtimes and lunchtimes based on feedback from pupils and expanding the range of physical extra-curricular clubs. What a proud start to the term!

   

   

• Speak Out. Stay Safe. and Danceathon

  This afternoon Kevin West from the NSPCC came to talk to the children about staying safe and speaking out to trusted adults if they feel upset or unsafe. To raise money in support of the work the NSPCC do, the children have been having fun doing a Danceathon throughout the day. Don't forget to collect your sponsorship money over the holidays!
