• Curriculum Challenge 1- Celebrations!

  On April 23rd people across the country marked St George’s Day, the day that celebrates the patron saint of England. Muslims around the world also began fasting for the holy month of Ramadan. These are just two of the many cultural and religious celebrations that take place each year so the first Curriculum Challenge was all about celebrations!

  Thank you to all those that took part. Through email and Facebook, we saw that children had created flags, designed dragons, read and watched videos of St Georges Day and Ramadan, and then created fact sheets, pictures and posters. We even had pictures and summaries of how some of you celebrate special events and times of the year.  Well done, and thanks again, it was wonderful seeing all your responses.
