• Fire Service Visit

  We had a very exciting visit from Avon and Somserset Fire Service this morning. We not only learned a lot about staying safe on bonfire night this weekend, we found out about what the fire service do all year round, explored a fire engine and got to use the hose! 

  

• Anti-Bullying Week launching Monday 14th November

  Monday the 14th November marks the start of Anti-Bullying Week across the UK. The theme this year is 'Reach Out' which encourages children to think about who they can reach out to if they are experiencing bullying. We'll explore what bullying means (repeated and consistent unkind words or behaviour) and how to deal with it in school. We are launching the day with a song from  Andy and the Odd Socks and invite children and adults to wear odd socks into school. The children will have an assembly from Mrs Sutherland sharing resources from the Anti-Bullying Alliance and will have some follow up activities in class.
