• Sports for School Event - Visit by Jack Rutter, Paralympian

  Jack is a GB Paralympian Footballer and captained England & GB team in European, World and Paralympic games.  He is now an England coach .  We were very lucky to have him visit our school.   He was an inspiration to all of us and demonstrated our school values and showed use what we can achieve if we 'reach for the stars.'

  Some of us used the inspirational story of Jack and took part in some other sporting activities during the day. 

   

   

  

• Year 2 walk to Nightingale Valley Woods

  Last week, Year 2 walked to Nightingale Valley Woods as part of their What is Home enquiry. The children were using their skills as scientists by observing closely to see if they could identify signs of life. They listened to sounds and looked at their surroundings to help them. By using their scientific skills, the children identified many different animals, insects, trees and plants!
